This picture illustrates the element of lines because it has different colors and designs that represent lines. I think the black background also helps to emphasis the lines because you have no where else to focus but on the lines. These lines were most likely made by a sparkler or created on a computer. This is an interesting picture to me because the colors are very appealing and also the picture is blurred so it looks as thought there are multiply lines. I think this artist was successful in creating a line element of design because lines can be found in nature of created in several different ways by man. This artist created a curvy and looped line picture that exemplifies this particular element of design.
I believe this picture is a wonderful example of shape because six friends are coming together to create a star out of their fingers. This picture not only represents shape but also the love between these six friends. Shape is defined as a flat, enclosed are with a length and width. This picture has both of those things which makes a book definition of shape. But it goes beyond that, it is a basic shape that we have seen from the time we were a small child. Me and friends once took a picture like this and this one reminds me of that day.

But it also has those in between grey colors. For example, her hair and eyebrows, eyes, and even her lips show that in between color excellently. The contrast between light and dark is prominent without being too over powering. This picture is also off centered so displays great design aesthetic. This picture is really beautiful and my eyes are immediately drawn to the little girls eyes.
I think this picture shows texture really well because you can clearly see all the cracks and texture of the tree bark. I especially like the off centered hole in the tree. The darker center with the cracks coming out of it is really appealing to me. I also think it shows texture because it doesn't feel like you are looking at a picture, it almost feels as though you are standing there looking at a tree in front of you. This picture reminds me of fall time because of the color.

You can only make out half her face and part of her shoulder but this is very appealing to me. It adds mystery to the picture that made me immediately drawn to it. And this picture displays that perfectly. The road is an extent of surface that is seemingly endless and even the clouds are an extent of a area. I like that most of the picture is in black and white except the little bit of color in the clouds. I think its adds a little something to the picture that not many people would think of doing. All in all, I believe this picture, and all the others, is a great example of the element of art space.
